First is Ed Ryan giving me a "Mini megaphone---with siren" to help get the attention of the members. Ed read a letter from Hose at BGA headquarters in Grand Cayman. Apparently Ed and Hose had had a conversation about the happenings in our club. I'll try to paraphrase some of the letter. It starts off, Dear Ed. He enjoyed their discussion concerning the status of the Citrus Hills Chapter and stated he was troubled to hear about an issue with our club. He went on to say that he wanted to take the opportunity to send, under separate cover a solution that will assist the Honorable William Pace in carrying out his duties. He then extended his wishes to all members and asked God to bless our veterans and those who gave their lives defending our great country. He went on to ask Ed to say hello to Commissioner Emeritus Jim Remler.
Ed proceeded to open the box and after some amount of fumbling was able to operate the megaphone.
We tried out the megaphone both before and after golf. While the gift is certainly appreciated it is not loud enough to get this groups attention. The thought is appreciated. Per, Commissioner W. A. Pace.
