BGA DOG DAYS CLASSIC

MICKEY MOUSE AWARD

Members, we had our BGA Dog Days Classic/Mickey Mouse Award tournament on Friday August 2, 2024.

Six teams competed in the BGA tournament.  Of the six teams, 3 teams won money.  The game was Team point quota.

Second place team was Sol's team with a score of minus 12.  Sol's team included Buzz Fredrickson, Ken Gerling and Neil Messina.

Larry Jone's team was third with a minus18.  Larry's team included Charlie Haire, John Keller, and Jim Pachmayer.

Regarding the Mickey Mouse Award, the four finalist were Jim Pachmayer, John Erdmann, Frank Mazzotta and David Flo.  Jim Pachmayer was the winner by a small margin.  

The winning team was captained by Jim Brown (who shot a 79 and the team score was a minus 8.  There were two notable scores with Jim Brown and Sol each shooting a 79.  Jim Brown also won the closest to the pin on hole #3.Jim Brown's team was Bob Feldber, John Balais, and David Beck. 

 The previous (2023) winner, Dave Beck made the presentation of the 2024 to Jim Pachmayer

Sol announces the finalists for the prestigious Micjey Mouse award. They were: Frank Mazzotta, Dave Flo, John Erdmann and Jim Pachmayer.
